Waves of Hope

500 Waves of Hope is a movement for us, young capable successors of the world, being the waves of hope reaching every single person on our way, and bringing the assurance of a better, happier and more meaningful life.

Towards November 18, we are dividing our campaign into several waves. The first wave is home visitation and we are encouraging everyone to take part in it, forging bonds of friendship with all members, talking with them about the their struggles and victories, about the importance of faith, and of course inviting them to our November 18 celebration meeting.

On November 18, the day itself, we will be holding festivals in three locations across the nation, Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. This is the opportunity where we can come together and celebrate our victories. This festival is open to all youth, including UHG, and Soka friends. We will have amazing performances and inspiring experiences.

The original song “I am the One” composed for the “Waves of Hope” campaign initiated by the Youth Division of SGINZ.

It is our deep determination that through the song, each person would manifest the courage to stand up for what they believe in, creating hope in their environment. It is also a song for everyone when facing deadlock in life, it will be a source of inspiration to rise up again with never defeated spirit, and be the motivation for us to keep striving and move forward with limitless hope in our hearts.
